Welcome to Indi, a multi vendor platform that allows independent artisans and makers to sell their products online. By using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Definitions
"Indi" means the website located at www.weshopindi.com.
"Vendor" means an independent artisan trader who sells products on Indi.
"Customer" means a person who purchases products from a Vendor on Indi.
2. Eligibility
To be eligible to use Indi, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid email address.
3. Account Creation
In order to shop with Indi, you must create an account. When you create an account, you will be asked to provide certain information, such as your name, email address, and password. You are responsible for keeping your account information confidential and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Product Listing
Vendors may list products for sale Indi. When you list a product, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about the product, including the product's description, price, and shipping information. Information provided by you at the time of sign up must be adhered to.
5. Sales
When a customer purchases a product from a Vendor on Indi, the Vendor agrees to ship the product to the customer. The Vendor is responsible for all shipping costs. Shipping costs may vary from vendor to vendor. Indi is not responsible for the cost of shipping.
6. Payments
Indi uses Stripe to process payments. When a customer purchases a product from a Vendor on Indi, the customer's credit card information is securely transmitted to Stripe. Stripe then processes the payment and sends the funds to indi.
6a. Vendor only: Statements will be issued monthly to vendors including any sales and expenses. Balances will be paid to the vendor at a minimum of £50.00; if the vendors account does not reach the minimum payment amount the owed sum will roll over into the next month until the balance reaches £50.00.
7. Refunds
If a customer is not satisfied with a product that they purchased from a Vendor on Indi, the customer may request a refund, however the customer must be aware that each vendor will have their own returns policy. Indi is not required to refund a customer if the vendor does not agree with the return request. The Vendor is responsible for approving the return before Indi processes the refund. Indi reserves the right to override the vendor’s decision if deemed incorrect. In this scenario the customer will be refunded and the vendor will be debited.
8. Disputes
If a dispute arises between a Vendor and a Customer, Indi will decide the final outcome.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Indi reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. If Indi changes these terms and conditions, the changes will be posted on the website.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
11. Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Indi and you with respect to the use of Indi. These terms and conditions supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
12. Severance
If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision will be struck from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
13. Waiver
No waiver of any provision of these terms and conditions will be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties.
14. Notices
All notices and other communications under these terms and conditions will be in writing and will be deemed to have been duly given:
When sent by electronic mail: upon the first business day following transmission, provided that a successful delivery receipt is generated.
15. Headings
The headings in these terms and conditions are for convenience only and will not affect their interpretation.
16. Counterparts
These terms and conditions may be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which will be deemed an original, but all of which together will constitute one and the same instrument.
